The area around Sungailiat is the best tourist location on Bangka Island, and directly north of this private beach is De Locomotief, a publicly open tourist beach where you can eat and drink day and night, as well as enjoy watersport facilities, a history museum, a marina, and a sea turtle conservation. You can always choose between the lifely publicly open beach and the private closed beach (which is protected by a dam for secure swimming) where the villas are located.
